Why does it cost
more to get a CD-Rom of my CT Wedding?
Most CT Wedding photographers give you
two choices after you wedding. The first is to look at all
of your proofs and buy you pictures from the photographer.
Depending on how many photos you purchase, this can get
very expensive. If you buy the CD-Rom of your CT Wedding,
you will own all of your images and can print them whenever
you like. You will never have to go back to the photographer
to get prints made.
What if we want to buy the CD-Rom
after our CT Wedding?
It is no problem if you would like to
buy the CD-Rom after you have seen your proofs…the
cost is $75.00 per hour photographed. (4 hours equals $300.00,
6 hours equals $450.00 and 8 hours equals $600).
How are the proofs delivered from
our CT Wedding?
All of the proofs from your CT Wedding
will be 4x6 prints. There will be no watermark or proof
stamp on your images. They will all be presented in bound
books. Each book holds 200 prints. Depending on what package
you choose, will determine how many proofs you receive.
Will you put our photos online?
If you would like we will put a gallery
of your CT wedding photos on our website at no extra charge.
Why would I want my CT Wedding
Photos posted on the web?
After your CT Wedding, all of your guest
will be interested in seeing the photos. If there is a web
gallery, everyone can go online and look at their leisure.
This is great for out of town guests. Your guest can also
purchase photos right from the website and save you the
hassle of having to print photos for everyone.
How long will it take to get my
CT Wedding photos back?
We guarantee that you will have your proofs
back within 30 days. In most cases we deliver them sooner,
but during the busy season it could take as long as 30 days.
Do you have any references?
We have a few brides that would be happy
to talk to you about their CT Wedding experience with Steady
Photography.
Why do you feel an engagement
session is so important?
It is important that the bride, groom
and photographer are comfortable working together. This
is the most important day of your life and you don’t
want someone you don’t like following you around all
day. This is why we offer a no-obligation engagement session
before you book your CT wedding.
What is your no-obligation engagement
session?
We will spend one hour photographing the
soon-to-be bride and groom. We will provide you with contact
sheets from the photo shoot. If you choose to book your
CT Wedding with Steady Photography, we will provide you
with the CD-Rom, including all of the images. If you don’t
book with Steady Photography, you are still welcome to buy
prints at our regular price. (see print prices)
What happens if your camera breaks?
We will have three digital camera bodies
with us at your wedding. Your day is just as important to
us as it is to you.
Do you have a package with two
photographers?
A second photographer can be hired for
an additional cost. The extra cost depends on the time of
year. Please contact Steady Photography for more information
about a second photographer at your CT Wedding.
Why would I want two photographers?
There are three important reasons to have
two photographers at your CT Wedding.
1. Bride and groom getting ready—With
two photographers we can have one photographer with the
bride and one with the groom before the wedding.
2. Bride walking down the isle—We
normally position ourselves the front of the church as the
bride walks down the isle…with two photographers we
can get a shot from behind the bride as everyone in the
church looks back to watch (this can be a priceless shot).
3. Group shots—With a second photographer,
one photographer can take the pictures while the second
photographer get the next group ready. It is also easier
to have two people help with the posing…the formal
shots move along much quicker.
Do you require a deposit?
We require a 20-percent deposit to hold
your wedding date. The deposit is non- refundable. In most
cases, if we are notified more than 60 days prior to the
wedding, we will refund your deposit.
Do you require us to sign a contract?
Yes—for the benefit of everyone
involved, we get everything written down and sign a contract
when the deposit is paid. A pdf of the contract is available
here.
