I was shooting an event for a client last week and stumbled across this photo. Not only did I think the photo was cool, but I thought the name of the wine was great also...no, I didn't get to try, I was working.

I spent all of last weekend working on project for Wallingford Youth Football...it was a perfect weekend to be outside taking photos. This is one of the best from the weekend.

Speaking of football, I will be on WELI 960 tomorrow morning at 6:10 a.m. picking high school football games against morning show host Jerry Kristafer...each member of the WELI football crew picks against Jerry one week and the crew's totals will be tallied against Jerry's at the end of the year. Right now the Crew is 45-9, while Jerry is 3420.

Went to Branford Point for a portrait shoot yesterday and while this isn't exactly what we were looking for, I thought this was a great shot.There were some other good ones that I will post at a later date.

Possesions Storefront

I recently finished working on a project for the clothes store Possesions in Branford. Elaine, the owner, who also happens to be the landlord for my studio, needed a picture of her storefront to appear in Elan Magazine's November issue. Here is the final result.

Last week the roles were reversed on me...instead of taking the photos, I was the subject.

Thanks to my father, who was visiting from North Carolina, I was able to get some new headshots to use on my website.

It gave me a new appreciation for how uncomfortable it can be to sit on the posing stool. Every photographer should get their photo taken every year just to remember how uncomfortable your subject can be.

Here are two of my favorites.

Finally a Post!!!

After two weeks of trying to get this blog going, I finally found some time this morning. I have wanted to share this picture since I took it back in August. I went to Burlington, VT to watch the Branford American Legion team play and took a little detour to a horse farm with my camera. It is definitely beautiful country, but I am glad that I was there in August since it was only 45 degrees at night.
